OUR UNIFORM

The Yarrow Primary School uniform has been agreed with parents as follows:
Emerald Green Polo Shirt or T-shirt with embroidered school logo
Emerald Green Sweatshirt or Cardigan with embroidered school logo
Dark skirt or trousers.
High visibility vests are provided by the school for all pupils and should be worn at all times when travelling to and from school and participating in school trips.

PUPIL TRANSPORT

All pupils who live over two miles from school are driven to school in the Yarrow bus by Lynne or in the Yarrow taxi by Shirley or Stacey. Parents of pupils who are not entitled to free transport may be granted a privilege lift, providing there are seats available.

Start of school day: 9.05am
Break: 10.30am - 10.45am
Lunch: 12.30pm - 1.10pm
End of school day: 3.30pm
Friday
Start of school day: 9.05am
Break: 10.30am - 10.45am
Brunch: 12.00pm - 12.30pm
End of school day: 12.50pm
School meals are cooked in school daily by our cook, Mrs Bryson. Scottish Borders Council operates a four week rotating menu which can be viewed on ParentPay. All orders and payments are made via ParentPay.
Children not having a school lunch can bring a home packed lunch.
School meals are free for all children up to and including Primary 5. In addition to this, families receiving certain benefits may be eligible for free school meals. Applications should be made to Scottish Borders Council. Forms are available from the school.
